So their plan is to incentivize undocumented immigrants to Dallas?

Now come on @radiofreetom.bsky.social , you know damn well you are not getting a representative sample of results in the comments to your tweets.

Oh the assertion is 100% correct. I am just blowing off some steam lol.

I had this argument with somebody today and here is a sampling of their mind-numbing logic.

Genuine question from somebody who has no clue the answer: Is this an American phenomenon? Or, like everything else, do we simply take it to the extreme?
comment in response to post
Because it wasn't an option? Why is that so hard to understand?
comment in response to post
Honestly, it is completely childish. Make things worse for everybody (including Palestine) because you don't get everything you want.
comment in response to post
This was the entire point of my initial post. How silly to accept what is going on today in this country while also making things worse for people you want to protect.
comment in response to post
In general, but sure. Do you really think Trump was not a worse option? Have you not heard the things he has said? Christ, he wants to send Palestinians to other countries.
comment in response to post
We had two options. Agree or disagree,? A non-vote was a vote foe the worse option. Agree or disagree?

Total non-sequitor to my point. I have issues with our relationship with the government of Israel, but on what planet was Trump not going to be even more beholden to them?
comment in response to post
Yes. A group of kids (upper teens) is possibly the most annoying thing on the planet, but they are harmless. And the same thing was true of us. Individual kids are thoughtful, kind, and intelligent in ways that we do not expect of them (our fault).
comment in response to post
Because like it or not we are faced with exactly two options every election. For the foreseeable future, one of those options is an authoritarian regime in the making.
comment in response to post
Yes. This is true, and the people who sat out the election or voted third party or whatever else because of "Genocide Joe" need to learn this immediately.

OMFG I DID NOT KNOW THIS PRODUCT EXISTED

Good point about these people being an abstraction, and also an actual case of both-sidesism as most of the right views service members as a monolith as well.

Yes. There is a television show in Japan where they send very young children to do tasks like going to the store and it is completely normal.

What's amazing is the freakout Republicans would have had one of the parents' firearms been used.

I will give you one clue: it involves the female of the species.

The sad thing is that all of these red herrings detract from actual anti-semitism.

Isn't the real answer here universal basic income?

OK deal as long as we also take down the roadblocks for minorities.

I love how you went from being too snooty to eat a hot dog to talking about getting an in-house beef/pork hot dog with natural casings. Call me when you have one off the roller grill at a gas station. Or at least from Costco.

It really is amazing how much the delivery matters. I never found Norm Macdonald's material to be all that compelling, but his delivery was perfect.

Sir, I usually have no opinion on your musical takes because I was born in 1985. That being said, Still the Same is at worst his second best song.
comment in response to post
Agree, but it is also more insane that this is somehow not the biggest issue currently facing Americans.
comment in response to post
So there is going to be a charging station every 2 miles. Nice.
comment in response to post
Their message kind of points to the issue in America. Experts come off as assholes to people sometimes because they tell things they disagree with. And because they tend to use big words. This is not a problem with the experts, it is a problem with the audience.

This is what I have always wanted to happen to Trump. To be in a situation where he is asked the most basic civics questions.
comment in response to post
Yes, but also to be fair the voices claiming a stolen or rigged election are not prominent amongst Democrats.
comment in response to post
And he is pissed if you are not doing the same.
comment in response to post
I agree! It also looks like an amazing pack of smokes.
comment in response to post
Yeah, but at least your studs would have been made out of old growth lumber!

this is why I support the parliamentary system with coalition governments. I do not agree with this man on much, but there are times when he tends to be the most correct republican. In a world where he is not tied to that party apparatus, a government could be formed through legitimate compromise.

It is once you start to reach the limits of the human capacity to do something better. Katie dropped it by nearly 10 seconds over the course of 3+ years and nobody but her has been within 5 seconds of the mark she set within 2016.

She *is* the best. She holds the top 10 times in the 800. She lost a race to Summer McIntosh last year (another amazing athlete), and Summer's best time was in the top 10 until this. I honestly think she could win the 1500 in perpetuity.

I love how they call it a "daunting" map when every Senate map is horrible for Democrats. We are fucked so hard it isn't even funny.

Looks like Marco Rubio is going to have a lot more to do.

Wait until he finds out that nobody works there anymore.

Just an extension of the mentality that social media kickstarted. I am sure some form of this has existed forever, but the rapid acceleration is scary.

I was born a decade after his, but I have also never really heard a lot of people longing for the good ole' days of the Ford Administration.

I don't know anything about the case, but it is heartening that this was not 7-2 with dissents from Alito and Thomas lol.
