Whats happening in the US with regard to ICE also happend in Germany in the 1930’s. Facism as reared its head in the US.

There already was a deal in place in 2016. Trump tore it up, and Iran went on to make nukes. Iran has nukes because of Trump.
comment in response to
post
The Obama administration negotiated an entire agreement with Iran where they wouldn't produce nukes in exchange for access to western goods. Trump unilaterally tore it up in his first term claiming it was a bad deal. As a result, Iran went and made Nukes. Art of the deal.

Agriculture is California’s #1 industry, and California’s economy is now the 4th largest in the world. Fucking CA fucks the USA.

And that points out the flaw with the GOP controlled senate representing the minority of Americans. The hillbillies are in control.

The debt limit debate was invented by republicans who were threatening to damage the US economy and credit rating in order to get what they wanted.

It made me sick to my stomach. Someone needs to ask the GOP senators if they would be totally acceptiing of that behavior if it were a democrat in the White House?
comment in response to

My understanding is that DHS 'interupted' their own press conference by jumping the senator after he identified himself and asked a question. Then they tackled him to the ground, cuffed him, and lied about the circumstances. Some seriously fascist shit.

The pillars of American democracy are falling fast.

This is utterly shocking. A sitting elected US senator being shoved out of a press conference.

Shouldn't be a problem for NE and IA now that China stopped buying Soy, Corn & Pork from the US due to the tarriff war. Those 3 products are the backbone of those Trump loving state's economies. They fucking deserve every bit of it.

Appreciate that Mitch is standing up for the right thing for once. But, he gets NO REDEMPTION for all the power hungry shit he did during his career. The only reasosn he's speaking out now is because he's lost hold of the GOP to the Orange Authoritarian he helped create.

In the 1930's the Germans did the exact same thing to Jewish neighborhoods as America is now doing to Hispanic neighborhoods. ICE and the Nazis both deployed paramillitary groups on people in their countries in order to terrorize and marginalize those who are deemed 'less human'.
comment in response to

ICE reminds me of the brownshirts from 1930's germany. Well before the holocaust, they Germany government carried out similar 'pograms' in Jewish neighborhoods. If you change Trumps rhetoric, by swapping the word 'Immigrants' with 'Jews', you can see how history tends to repeat it self.

When its taxes via tariffs, they say the opposite.

What a misleading headline. Should say “economy slows as tariffs siphon money from American’s wallets”

Trump and the MAGA crowd have one major thong in common: they like to run their mouth off when they have no clue what they are actually talking about. Its infuriating to watch the arrogance with which their declare their bullshit to be true

Trump is such a blathering idiot, I’m surprised anyone listens or gives any value to anything he says.

I’ve been saying basically the same thing. Trump is a clown Nazi, but Miller is the real thing.

Everyone needs to understand that Fox New is a warm blanket to scared conservatives. The business model is generating advertising income by keeping those people tuned in to watch what makes them feel good. Its not making America great again.

EV’s are taking over anyway. If people are dumb enough to keep wasting money on gasoline from low efficiency cars, let em’.

Typical right wing MAGA shit from Bannon. Someone says something they don’t agree with and they go full on retaliation.

From the very beginning, I’ve suspected that the Tariff strategy was all about taxing everyone more so they can cut taxes for the rich.

Fitting for Johnson as he's a full throated supporter of Trump who, according to Musk, has had sex with children.

Because too many Americans don't see the threat as being real yet. Its not tangible to them. Ukrainians, on the other hand, are fighting for the existence of their culture while bombs are blowing up in the cities around them. My college history professor once said, "cultures die hard"
