The art of the deal is being too incompetent and loathsome to actually get anyone to negotiate with you.

Contempt for Alito and the void that is present where a soul should be will always get a shout out for me. Fuck that guy

Amazing open letter, but have to point out my favorite line (re: calling out racism): I suspect Samuel Alito would simply be excited by such a charge. I nearly spit out my coffee :)

What drives me insane as a solo practitioner is: 1) citing stuff is not that hard or time consuming; and 2) when you stop manually researching and writing you don't give your brain the opportunity to add the nuance experience provides--what's supposed to separate you from competitors

Omg congrats guys!!!!! That's awesome news!

I have so many vendors constantly pushing GenAI at me for my law practice and I'm at the point where I'm just telling them to fuck off. Sorry, a robot cannot do my job.

Working how? All your posts state you're doing "something" but provide nothing of substance.

I truly don't understand why we can't just let people die in peace and someone carry their torch. Like the world will not end if people hear a different voice.

Stand up how? All I see are empty platitudes on social media. Your constituents want actual action, not a keyboard warrior.

Thanks for your reporting, Marisa. Just reached out to our alumni association based on your reporting to express my displeasure and vow to never donate to the school again. Massively disappointed in my alma mater

Who’s the whistleblower? Daniel Berulis — a senior DevSecOps architect at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), formerly with TS/SCI clearance. He just told Congress the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) pulled off a covert cyber op inside a federal agency.

They're not even appealing the discovery order. They're literally trying to appeal her order that just reiterates the SCOTUS mandate. I can't see how it's appealable.

Is this even an appealable order? Literally just reiterate SCOTUS mandate. Baffling

That's not accurate.

Yeah that's why I'd be curious if she'd allow it.

Would be interesting if Judge Xinis allows testimony from the senator given the fact that he's the only one who has attempted to facilitate return.

It's so good but sometimes I feel so dumb. Like is this a clue or am I fixating on something pointless?

My dog matches all of my anxieties and neuroses. The perfect storm.

I ran out lol. Mile and a half walk to get here and used them for training on the way now he's overly dramatic because we ran out. If only dogs were as unbothered as cats.

I'm jealous. I'm at a brewery right now and mine is living his adhd overstimulated life not able to sit still (except for a treat induced photo)

Every day I become more embarrassed by our profession.

The administration isn't just passively letting millions suffer and die, they're purposefully orchestrating pain and destruction on millions of people domestically and abroad. It's the only word that fits. A monster does something by nature, evil makes a choice.
comment in response to post
I'd go further. It's evil. In school we were taught about the atrocities of Nazi Germany and how at its core it was an evil system. They're building the same thing here. Mincing words does a disservice.

Guys like this were the worst during law school, spouting contrarian bullshit to seem smart and cool when everyone just wanted to move on and get out of class.

1000% this. I was our articles editor and when I would push back on an argument they'd just get whiny and say I'm just a student who does not understand. Which, fair, I didn't understand but it's because the arguments were terrible. We still published.

It's hard for them to do real reporting when their tongues are attached to the administration's boots so they gotta get it from somewhere I guess

Truly cannot fathom how Republicans are okay with a child just running rampant through every secure system our government has.

And the follow up: why is access important when it's just a bunch of grifters who are going to lie?

I've gotten 6 of those in Florida since yesterday

At least you got a copy/paste response. Our newest senate hellspawn, Ashley Moody, has the phones off and doesn't respond to emails here in Florida.
