So I thought I'd give learning French a go. I'm a week in and the simple things are clicking. Question is, what other methods should I employ?. I've been reading The Hobbit on the kindle and using Google translate to translate a paragraph at a time. Also watching French movies with subs.

Let's say there's occasions where I just cannot stop singing 'Tiger Feet' in a Geordie accent (that's reet, that's reet, that's reet, that's reet, a really love your tiger feet). Or Red Red Wine with an accent that sounds like an actual parrot. Maybe saying "Sammy Jankis" over and over and over.
