Interesting. I hadn't thought of Gauntlet Legends as an RPG before. Would you also classify Mega Man 64 this way because of the character upgrades and enhancements you can unlock?

I didn't know they made Wizardry games beyond the NES era. If it's anything like the NES ones, you have my pity and respect for powering through it.

Maybe because we expect that everyone is supposed to have learned all this as a kid? Like it would be odd if an adult movie took a moment to teach you how to count to 10 or sing the alphabet. I think we categorized those lessons as being for kids, so they feel out of place in adult media.

JP is the benchmark I use to judge CGI in modern movies. This movie was made in the days of Windows 3.1 and those dinos look amazing. There's just no excuse for shabby visuals today.

Bethesda pulling some Madagascar penguin moves.

How long until Miller or someone else decides the 3rd amendment doesn't mean sh#t? They've trampled over the law and judicial system so much it wouldn't even surprise me.

Congratulations!

That could be super cool, but the pressure to do it "right" would be insane high.

Very slick!

Thank you for sharing this! I've been trying to find a good controller solution that isn't a pegboard.

Nothing wrong with saving the best for last. It reminds me of MASH; sometimes the best joke was in the last scene before the credits rolled.

Been rewatching this on Disney+, and it's wild how well some of the social or political commentary holds up.

He can definitely eat food. Just like any of us could eat rocks, leaves, or metal shavings: getting it down isn't the issue, it's what our bodies have to do to deal with it afterwards. I wonder if he would end up regurgitating it up later like the egg King Piccolo spat up.

I should go back and replay this. I had fun with it in high school, but I remember the late game with the T-Rex encounters being annoying.

Love the shade thrown at other videos that drag things on for several minutes instead of getting to the point.

That is a fantastic collection.

Perhaps an egg timer?

Starchaser: The Legend of Orin. A cheap Star Wars knockoff that never got going in its nearly 2 hour run time. My friend tricked me into watching it because he said it was really great after a slow start. Truth was he suffered through it and wanted me to experience it too. Pretty good prank.

That's looking really slick.

I've used his Gamecube support brace for the Retrobit Prism for years. Great product.

I love RetroFrog products. I need to pick one of these up too. Thanks for the reminder!

Have you finished season 2 yet?

Happy to share the N64 love. N64 was the first time my 3 younger siblings and I could play at the same time, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. Enjoy!

Forgot to mention Pokemon Snap on the list of single player games to check out. Sorry to blast so many at you, but hopefully some of these resonate with you and your family.

It's made by a company called Whalen. I got it from Costco, though Walmart has comparable products for around $100. Mine is the 72in tall 5 shelf unit. Each shelf is 2ft by 4ft. I put 6 of them in my Lego room 😅

For a few years it sat on a coffee table, but now it is on a storage rack in my Lego room next to the 3 shelves I have for the OG Star Wars trilogy Lego sets. Next step is LED strip lighting for the shelves.

This was a fun build. It's about 7,500 pieces and measures approximately 2 ft wide by 3 ft long. At the time, it was the largest set Lego had ever released, but now there are a few bigger.
