My freshman year of high school at Homecoming, one of my classmates asked for a slow dance and I was like. What the hell sure. He stared at me dreamy eyed the whole time and thought it was kinda weird but moved on.
At the bonfire after the dance, he asked if he could sit next to me and I said sure.
