Also I always choose Iorveth's path instead of Roche's, for epic woman empowering reasons. I would recommend if you have the time, watch the cinematics movies on youtube, particularly the Witcher 2 one since the choices are from that game. If you do, don't fall for Triss' lies lol

I believe there are a few choices to have paat characters return, for example letting Letho live, you will get a quest with him and it's awesome.
You can also choose if you killed LaValette or not, not that big of a change in playthru for w3.
Letting Sile de Tantarville live is also good for a cameo
