A sign held by young person smiling fist in the air reads:
Fuck Giuliani and Pataki
[former mayor and former governor]
The main theme and goal is in the headline:

I had this situation with a vintage ring I bought. I discovered when it arrived that it had a HUGE chip in the stone, which was also very loose in the setting. Chip was sorta visible in the pic, and it was sold as “vintage condition,” but…still over the limit for me.

I just saw an IG reel where someone quoted their wise friend as saying “Men think they’re competing against the top 10% of other men for women. What they’re really competing with is the peace and enjoyment women get from solitude.”

As I get older and lose more people I love, I learn how much it means to know others who knew them and can talk about them with you. It’s like having someone there to cup their hands around the flame of the candle you’re holding on a dark and windy night. 💗

Prison library workers should be paid more than the legal MAXIMUM, honestly!!
comment in response to

All workers, no matter their age, deserve to be paid enough to meet their needs. But beyond that, prison library work is skilled, valuable, difficult labour. Prison library workers should be paid more than the legal minimum.

Technically the portmanteauji is a form of rebus, I suppose, but with the dispositif of a) being composed entirely of existing emoji, and b) suggestive of the emergent and unmet need for new emoji, so it is also a form of neologism or imported word

I just invented a word to describe stringing together emoji to convey a word or concept for which a dedicated emoji does not exist: portmanteauji

Man, that must have been so weird for your aunt! And also really hard for everyone else in the family who might have suffered his harsh judgment of their relationships ending and of their daring to have another go at marriage. Complicated doesn’t begin to cover it!
