Well that was also what was reported initially so most likely, seems the person who told press about it just didn't know the difference between languages.
The Lighthouse had captions as the dialect can be hard to follow, I'd be surprised if this didn't have subtitles.

How is it counterproductive to his goal of making you feel like you're actually peering into this world and time?

Kind of hard to see a free and fair 2028 election.

Yeah I'm from Kentucky and think he's a really great guy with solid morals, but I know a ton of people who think the same way. A lot of people here want things to get better, shit's just difficult.

You can write really poignant stuff that deals in subjects that fall under the perception of being "fetishy". Dismissing the idea that fiction could be meaningful because of its subject matter, and I assume hearing that the main character is drawn to something nefarious, isn't a good idea.

My great-grandfather literally did the same, what is that supposed to change dumbass. Calling people liberals for what, challenging the idea that there should be no sympathy for victims of fascism as a whole, whether or not they support it? Your cruelty is without reason, it's just for you.

Thanks for the laugh, genuine first of the day

Meanwhile I never called you a fascist, I made sure I was clear with my speech so that there was little room for misunderstanding so you had an out if you wanted to back out. Anything you're confused by can probably be solved by rereading the conversation.

And you're currently calling me a liberal as an insult based on nothing but vibes ironically. Sorry but I'm not whatever group you're frustrated with because I think it's helping fascists to demand no sympathy for their victims as a whole, based on hearing that a single victim may have been MAGA.

Thanks, I know you'll be all for it if you hear a single person getting went after at the same time supports Trump.

Whether or not you get it that is pretty much what you've said. Somewhere along the line here you definitely got confused about what the conversation you were taking part in was about

So you're instead going to cheer for it while claiming to be opposed? What the fuck lol

If you hate minorities because you heard a single one of them works against the other, you are a fascist collaborator. What do you even think you're accomplishing?

I'm gonna assume and hope that you're just ignoring the post you're responding to and chatting shit about something from the original, but this is a post about how it's also important and moreso to focus on how horrific this is. There's no MAGA blowback in the text above, cruelty is not the move
comment in response to

That's a mindset that's only gonna hurt you, others, and make people hate you. What is wrong with you - when your hatred towards people actually contributing to a worse world is lazily applied to random victims of the government. How is cruelty towards the marginalized ok just bcs *one*'s MAGA

If they decided to make the games more like the ones from the show The Traitors, improve self elimination by turning it into a hidden role game with traitorous players, insert the round table discussion from The Traitors, and replace Mr Beast, I think it couldve been a good reality competition show.

It's a figure of speech; it looked like an embrace of the Cheneys, and people remember that they hate Dick Cheney. I imagine that likely wasn't the intention, but it was an optics move in a party that mainly cares about optics. They probably should've realized the optics of parading a Cheney about.

There is "liberal" media that helps Dem interests and wasn't going against them, it was pushing what was supported by party leadership. I agree that media as a whole is controlled by the ruling class and the right wing, but Dems were fully capable of advertising things that actually sounded good.

Their specialty is really creating a completely off base perception of how "the average voter" views them and what they're doing. The DNC was a very big example of that; with a way of presentation that appeals to no one but dedicated liberals, and right wing messaging to appeal to fictional voters

That doesn't actually work as much of an argument. You could fight in WW2 against Nazis or other fascists while holding any ideology. It is especially ignorant to make that argument for an *American*, Americans as a whole did not ideologically oppose Nazis at all, that's not why we fought them.
