So many people regard the LibDems as the nice, reasonable party in the middle. Looking at the local LibDems where I live that couldn't be further from the truth

Not sure how you could take that from my post. What I am saying is that neither of them is guilty at the moment. Nicola has been cleared and Peter has not been found guilty of anything so far

Of course it was...it was a power play. Wastemonster was scared of Nicola Sturgeon. You only have to look at her handling of covid and her lack of waffling. #BoJotheBoZo was, well, we know what he was.

You're telling me that it is not hugely expensive and I've given you proof that it is. It is a fact that renewables do not have the complication of spent fuel. It is also a fact that there are cheaper, faster options for Scotland. Your arguments are not convincing. Let's agree to disagree

We don't have to consider spent fuel at all with wind, tidal or hydro. And I beg to differ on Sizewell on.ft.com/4isLXia There are other more effective options for Scotland

Nuclear is massively expensive, plants take a long time to build and get online, would be extremely unpopular and we still don't have an answer to the age-old problem of what to do with the spent fuel. Pump storage hydro is a better option for Scotland

Do you ever wonder about Ineos pleading poverty before every big election? A rich private company repeatedly holding government to ransom in an attempt to elicit more tax-payer money
