It isn't rocket science. Russia is demanding the right to keep invading free nations without the free world interfering. Full stop. Their entire premise of invading Ukraine was to keep NATO from getting in and preventing them from invading Ukraine. It is nonsense.

It isn't perfect and needs work right now. But few Canadians would trade it for the US system. The USA has the dramatically highest cost per capita for healthcare in the world yet the poorest average health and health outcomes in the OECD. It only works if you are very rich.

US defense budget per capita is $3,000 per capita. Canada is $600. Free how? US federal spend is $18,000 per capita while Canada is < $10,000. Canada has free healthcare, effective regulations, social safety net, global respect, more affordable education, etc. 🇨🇦
