Post implementation study of safe speeds in Auckland published in Austroads. Safe speeds currently being reversed to unsafe speeds by government insistence. Deadly, sure, but also burdening society with extra cost. Safe speed programme returned $9 for $1 dollar in cost, on reduced harms alone.
