I'm cautious of over-politicising Sonic (a Sonic fansite once went down after founder compared Sonic and BLM), but I completely agree with this. Sonic is always about freedom and helping friends. He saves people from literal enslavement (trapped in robots) and his nemesis is a wannabe dictator

We have pretty regular Saturday afternoon protests here in Dublin.
One time I saw one while with a relative from a Middle Eastern Country. While I was mentally flipping through recent headlines to figure out what the protest was about, he was just hugely surprised to see a protest at all.

It's a live TV channel I found on Plex that plays nothing but Sonic episodes. This is what they play as an "ad break", but at least for me (in Ireland), there are no ads, just this countdown.
