As a quick tip - turn the gamma down in windows 11/10 to almost zero. It's omega poorly configured in HDR. (though games usually override this anyway, it's still really bad; can help with the base HDR calibration which you should then redo, which may then positively impact your experience in games)

Well, the correlation might be an order removed but one could perhaps argue that the root of both trends is a cultural prioritization difference. Other nations pass laws and focus economic power on safety and health of citizens, while the US prioritizes freedom to shoot guns and profit on insurance.

I've always felt the liberté, égalité, and fraternité argument combined with the very interesting worker ownership economics are the core of my socialist ideals, so nice to see this expounded here.

If there was a “coarsening” of society, surely it occurred when businesses were established to profit off denying people healthcare. The main joke people are making in response to Thompson’s death is merely to treat it with the bloodless bureaucratic indifference that these companies perfected.

The comments on this article make my head spin. Yes, activating non-tesla chargers is a stupid awful experience involving too many goddamn apps and failed sessions. And that's entirely the result of cost-cutting bean counters who couldn't figure out how to reliably build a fucking vending machine.

Case of the Golden Idol was amazing and my wife and I are halfway through Chapter 3 of Rise now -- exceptional games, congrats on the launch!
