Yeah in America most ISPs have “plans” that have a cap on the data you used my current on has a 1.2TB cap. You can, of course, pay a bunch more and go “unlimited”

I wanna say it was a GameStop exclusive. And included a 10th anniversary soundtrack selection too

I guess the crux is that Yakuza 7 felt truly revolutionary to me, opening up the series to be so many things - and since then we’ve only retreated known ground. There’s a real fear of breaking too far beyond the familiar that Yakuza fans know - and I think that’s a problem

But what’s most shocking to me is there’s a whole group of people that are going to experience a legitimately worse version of this story for the first time. And that’s truly baffling to me

Yakuza 0 is one of the masterpieces of all time to me - but it’s truly shocking how sloppy these “new” cutscene make some really big story elements. But it’s not a one-off, it’s questionable storytelling that’s been seeping into the games for a while

Which is pretty abysmal for a game where the ending can color your entire interpretation of the game. It's a real testament to the vacuum that's completely open right now on how to discuss games in a more meaningful manner, and with a longer tail on discussion than just the two weeks it's hot.

I can literally give someone a list of like 10 great turn-based games that have come out in the last five years, off the top of my head. I don't even have to think that hard!

I'm gonna say Lost Odyssey too. Required reading.
