“Relationship lifecycle management” sounds so romantic. “Oh honey, you want us to always stay together? Can you re-formulate that statement using verbal forms for expressions of provisions according to ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2?”
comment in response to post
Although some might argue that ISO 44001 could be a somewhat less autistic alternative.

Want me to help you with that?

Do you suspect you might be one?

In three dimensional space, polar bears use a solid angle instead of a planar angle, and cartesian bears need three distances.
comment in response to post
Polar bears are defined by an angle and their radial distance from an origin, whereas cartesian bears have two distances along two orthogonal axes intersecting in the origin.
comment in response to post
Polar bears when log-polar bears show up.
comment in response to post
As opposed to polar bears, which have an angular and radial component, cartesian bears are oriented along orthogonal axes.

Then probably not a polar bear.

A seal in need (for fish) is a seal indeed.

Do you eat seals?

I for one am not going to miss polar bears.

I’ll go ask a seal.

A strong indicator of being overworked. Sometimes also of living in different timezones. :p

I fear that root beer is not that common in Central Europe. But I really like the aroma of methyl salicylate, which is apparently contained in significant quantity in many root beers, and so I should probably find a source.

I’ve seen various approaches, mostly variations of “they” or “dey” adapted to German grammatical cases, but also completely new grammatical forms that would probably be difficult to understand for most German speakers.

Well, sometimes it’s just about that. Fulfilling complementary needs. But that may not be a solid enough foundation for a more long-term relationship, which I believe you are looking for.
comment in response to post
Also, people generally like to treated like… well… people. If you just view them as objects to potentially fulfil some need or function, they probably won’t respond well.

It’s obviously harder if you’re autistic and have trouble picking up subtext. I think the most important thing is to not take it personally and let yourself be discouraged from trying again (with someone else).
comment in response to post
The difficulty is that many people won’t tell you if they’re not actually interested in you and instead keep up a polite conversation. It probably doesn’t help to be persistent in such cases.

I texted for more than a year with my current primary long-term relationship partner before we met in person for the first time, but then things developed quickly. With my other two puppies, things were more spontaneous and impulsive.
