Prime Target is the only one I've watched and thought it was utter nonsense.
comment in response to post
Prime Target is about the only terrible show we've seen on Apple to be fair. Despite my hate for Apple in general, we do love Apple TV.

The name is a tongue in cheek, edgy one it chooses for itself. It's actually very chill.

Season 3 comes out next month!

Loved Masters of the Air. Silo is awesome. Presumed Innocent was great with Jake Gyllenhaal.

July for Foundation. My fiancé and I are rewatching season 1 and 2 before it comes out. For All Mankind is renewed but I don't know how they can justify Joel Kinnaman's character still being in it.

The Cass 'Review' is state funded propaganda masquerading as science. It's a minority hit piece. We should stop pretending it's science.

Is that Keir Starmer?

Just treat AI like the semi-competent co-worker that you sometimes get excellent, esoteric answers from but who is pretty bad at creative thinking.

Interesting to see that the US military is joining in with Trooping the Colour tomorrow!

They want to be getting on with moving their ire to immigration and claiming that it's anti-women to allow immigrants into the country. But we just won't let them. Diddums.
comment in response to post
I think they believe they're the latter rather than the former. :)

Yet people behave as if the Lib Dems kicked their dog and are collectively responsible for the past 15 years, refusing to even consider them. Yet when you look at what Labour have done or the Tories, far less hatred. It's the same as the people that refused to vote Harris because of Gaza.
comment in response to post
It's unhinged. The people they're actually upset with are the Tories, but the Lib Dems receive the flak. They were absolutely punished for it, yet the Tories were the ones actually doing The Bad Thing. If the Lib Dems hadn't gone into coalition, there would have been more elections right away.
comment in response to post
The Liberal Democrats are the bigger of the more left-leaning parties. Certainly much larger than the Greens, but they tend to have some similar views. People just can't get over the early 2010s and so have an unhinged position of hating the Lib Dems more than Labour and the Cons.

It's English, typically.

He's begging the question that 'executive' and 'monarchy' are synonyms. His whole argument stems from that. When that fails, as it should, it collapses.

He's going to do it at this rate.

This 'biological men' for trans women and 'biological women' for trans men needs to fucking stop.

11/ My take: @jamiewareham.co.uk "It's time to get out of the bars and onto the streets. This moment will be looked upon in history as a pivotal moment in human rights history across the whole world - and it's up to all of us to fight back." www.wearequeeraf.com/interim-ehrc...

I've been a Lib Dem since 2014 - the pool is fine. :)

Typical Americans, since the Second World War they're always pulling out of wars when things get tough.

Seems entirely pointless for Ukraine.

You're the one being dishonest here, unfortunately. You'd have people believing that the Lib Dems were behind austerity and actively driving it through. Shame on you for trying to destroy probably the best chance this country has to survive with democracy and decency intact.
comment in response to post
Very little to do with austerity, not nothing. They also got us the £12k tax free bracket in our income tax laws. Yes, they also tried to get proportional representation but were lied to by the Tories and offered something completely different in exchange for backing a rise in student loans.
comment in response to post
It was off the back of a hung parliament, no clear winner, and honestly it was better than any of the governments that have come since. People could have voted for someone else at any time and yet they chose to prop up the Tory governments that gave us Brexit and even worse austerity. Disingenuous?
comment in response to post
The Lib Dems were barely listened to in that parliament and they suffered heavily for it. Every single mainstream party has now been involved in austerity - your options are getting a bit thin if you stick to that line of reasoning.

Trans women are more likely to be attacked than cis women in the men's toilets, not less. Your experience and opinion on using the wrong toilets is your own opinion but not reality.

A world where misogyny gets turned on its head and so people just pretend you don't exist. I'm so sorry.

He peaced out while giving JD the middle finger.

Yet they exist, and it just shows that not everyone fits into a neat X or Y box, nor should you try to make them. If there are some outliers, why not outliers in other areas? Why the desperation to make everything binary and immutable?

You may be right.

But if you haven't seen the GIC yet or been given a diagnosis, you can't change it at all. The waiting list is so long that someone I know that transitioned in 2021 still hasn't seen anyone and has no indication of how many more years they need to wait.

Honestly not sure what to do. I'm currently looking to buy my first house with my fiancé but questioning if that's just going to make fleeing any trans hatred so much harder. The future is worrying.
comment in response to post
I think I gave up caring about typos in 2009. In this world of smart phones, tiny keyboards and autocorrect, it's very easy to do and so hard to spot for the typer. In the vein of 'we all make mistakes', we should just let it go.

Which is how you identify and perfectly valid. It's actually the only thing that you can use without excluding cis men in the group. Trans men are the same. They have the same innate understanding of who they are. Trans women too, just as women. Victims of a genetic birth defect.
