It’s mind-boggling that 18 Senate Democrats would vote for a bill that legalizes Trump’s blatant corruption while he’s arresting their colleagues.
The fact that voting for this bill is an acceptable position in the Democratic Party is a sign of irredeemable corruption.

2/ This sounds like a big statement. But the most experienced person in the room is probably Marco Rubio, who did have some FP focus in the Senate but has never served in the executive branch. And he is both Secy of State and Nat Sec Advisor.
