It's like that in Canada too. I've been in and out of physical therapy since I was a teenager.
I do have a PA and a therapist who empathize with me, but they're limited in what they can do to help.

I'm Canadian and we still call them cops up there. I was part of the punk rock scene for a bit. I recall songs by bands like DOA's "Police Brutality" and Propagandhi's "Cop Just Out Of Frame"
I listen to that stuff even more nowadays lol
