omg I use specific ME3 songs for deep emotional character interactions. when I'm writing those big poignant moments I always put on ME3's I Was Lost Without You or I'm Proud of You if it's like a sacrificial moment and I want to make myself cry LOL

on the upside the villain has been clearly established, unlike in the last draft where he kinda just shows up villainously at the end for a big bad bossfight 😂

while my partner and I already cemented our worldcon travel plans this year, we are tempted to take the train next year for LA worldcon haha it would be quite the trip though! but I've never been on at rain and this has tempted me 😂

oh there's been so much of that lately between constant thunderstorms and then a ton of heat, so I bet that's not helping 😭 ty though that helps me at least be aware of the fact that heat (or at least sudden/intense weather changes) can factor in too!

pros to the blood pressure meds: my blood pressure isn't in dangerous territory anymore, love that for me.
cons: far more prone to headaches/migraines than before so having to learn how to mitigate that 😅

oh I have so many but I DID just pick up a novella called The Iron Below Remembers by Sharang Biswas which has elements of both gay disaster and ancient giant robot discoveries (though not dragons) ANNND also superhero stuffs!

starting to worry that this novel is now going to wind up somewhere around 100k-115k in length, and I know that 100k tends to be a bit of a line for agents/editors.

having episodic hypertension + dysautonomia/an autonomic nervous system issue of some variety I am too broke to get fully diagnosed at this time + secondary hypertension from childhood cancer stuffs is a journey lmao BUT WE'RE GETTING THERE!! 😅

ohhh that's fun though, curious what the rules were! like was a nat 20 like... rolling a 6? (I had to remember what dice were used in monopoly omg how did I forget). this is also fun conceptually given other TTRPG systems now that do use d6s such as monster of the week etc etc!

saaaame! I played the early access for Hades and loved watching it develop and Hades II is no different but also I AM SO EAGER FOR IT TO BE FULLY HEEEERE
