Working on a project in northern CA. Field day shots.

Is anybody else tire of the relentless Trump-focused hate posts and rhetoric? Why can’t BlyeSky folks shift to id the problem and creative a community for actionable ways forward? Everything else is waste of energy….isn’t it?

Waiting in Belize City airport, there is a bar tucked away in the corner. The walls are covered with law enforcement patches. Buried in them I found a gem.

Not great shots, but a few common birds I could capture while moving about in Belize. Little blue heron and yellow warbler.

Feedback on BlueSky app: Desire more reactions, not just a heart. Would like: ability to edit post. If I make an error, I have to delete entire post ability to search friends by name vs BlueSky address. This makes it hard to find established community. Allow larger amount of text and photos.

Green iguanas are threatened by climate change, hunting and habitat loss. Please consider adopting an iguana through this organization, as they fund scholarships and actively breed and release iguanas into protected reserves and national parks. www.sanignaciobelize.com/belize-iguan...

Tikal National Park, Guatemala. It’s a must see.

It’s not funny really, but the current status of my husband ankles and calves give me a chuckle. Belize+biting insects+sweet blood

Funny oddities of hotels in Belize. Duplicate pictures on walls and a lamp w/no outlets. I think it’s there to simply balance out the other lamp. 🤣

San Ignacio, Belize, ATM cave. Definitely did not disappoint!

Best experience…swimming in a bioluminescent lagoon…trying to make bioluminescent snow angels. Sittee River, Hopkins, Belize.

Fun trip to Cahal Pech, San Ignacio, Belize

Caye Caulker, Belize doesn’t suck

During yesterday’s protests I noticed the demographic - white and average age of 55. How do we increase a diverse participation? That seemed like a big gap.

It was a good turn out

Ya!

Headed to protest in Sacramento. Feeling energized.
