Besides the Winnie the Pooh quote referenced above, a favorite is "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead

My mom with dementia got me this quote on a necklace the last time she was able to order anything. I bawled. I rarely take it off.

So, is this threat level orange? Red? Or a new one like black for total destruction? Okay, putting aside all sarcasm. I'm genuinely concerned about the state of... everything and kind of compartmentalizing. All I have for you is air hugs. Do what you have to do to stay sane.

Same. I really wanted to be at this one.

That has got to be beyond frustrating. Y'all are fighting a war in near secrecy. I hope the bonds you've made under such duress will sustain each one of you. πŸ«ΆπŸ—½

What would happen if a team from a response center responded without a directive, theoretically?

Survived by taking care of medical issues and sought joy through a hike with a friend, and old funny movies I have already watched. Then I will be ready for our local weekly protest.

Exactly. I love flexibility. Just go where you're needed and leave when you're done. So, I'm the flexible need-filler person?

I saw a cement truck with a slogan 'Find a need and fill it.' I found it both funny and inspiring. It doesn't matter what it is now, if I am capable, I do my best to meet the need.

It's finished? Completely? I can't find any news.

Thank you. I've noticed that it is also said "Enjoy your long weekend." or something to that effect. I haven't figured out how to respond yet.

Because government ethics lawyers would clearly not do something so unethical. And they wouldn't allow private contractors to do this shit with an exorbitant amount of tax-payer money. Private contractors will somehow enrich Trump and co. for thanks for the job. Am I getting warm?

With all of the bs being dumped on y'all and us, it's nice to know there are wins. Is there a list anywhere that shows what has been saved, returned, etc? It would be great to know when/if/how fights are won. You are important and appreciated. πŸ—½πŸ†

True! They have many names and are native in all of the contiguous U.S. The book, from my understanding, shows the benefits of operating from a sense of abundance and community instead of our current scarcity, hoarding, self-reliant ways of thinking and acting. openlibrary.org/books/OL5697...

I am finding out that I am too intimidated to ask a question. So, just tell me something that you love about the LOC, please.

Oh, yes. It was the yello I was thinking about and thought one of the AltGov accounts said that about them. My bad. Thx for the correction!

Thanks for letting me know about the thumb drive issue! At least, I didn't have to go to the office!

I called this morning and they're putting it all on a CD and mailing it to me. Maybe each office does it differently.
