Heavy agree. Well, my favourite "film Jake Gyllenhaal is in" is his Spider-Man appearance, natch. But favourite "Jake Gyllenhaal film" is def Zodiac.

I loved the concept, thought the execution was so-so, and wanted to yeet the protagonist directly into the sun. Spielberg fixed the 2nd and 3rd issue for me.

"We'll just terraform Mars," they insist, unable to terraform Earth, a planet that is already perfect except it's like 2° too warm.

Oh this one is MUCH more fun. Still dumb and cheesey as all hell but much more deliberately so this time round. Absolute nonsense, beginning to end. I loved it. #MBDoesDC

I'll give it this: the blu-ray transfer is surprisingly crisp, given the original budget for this one equates to about £2.50 and a packet of peanuts in today's coin.

I don't know why I do this to myself. Literally nobody is forcing me to watch these, and here I am doing the 3 shitest ones of the 80s within 24hrs of one another. #MBDoesDC

Rendered watchable only by how dependable Chris Reeve always was in this role. The junkyard fight is decent, and I'll always be grateful for the Drunk Superman gif, but otherwise this one can get in the sea. #MBDoesDC

Absolute B-movie hokum of the highest order, dumb as a box of rocks but I had fun with it. #MBDoesDC
