No, that's not even a significant source of E. coli contamination. Manure runoff into irrigation water, improper composting of manure, to name a few, are much the main culprits.

When I was in elementary school in the fifties a girl in my school suffered severe permanent neurological damage from encephalitis from measles. She was never able to return to school.
Measles was also a leading cause of childhood blindness. Today it causes 60,000 cases worldwide.
