Utah is a permitless carry state. SLC has an open carry ordinance, and protests frequently see AR-15s being carried openly.
This environment makes threat assessment more challenging, which is why having armed "security" volunteers who lack extensive training is an incredibly reckless idea.

The police are charging him with homicide despite him never firing a shot.

In April, white oganizers with 50501 Los Angeles harassed Erik, a well-known and respected Black activist, calling the police on him because he would not move his Black Panthers merch table out of a public area away from their protest. After an uproar, 50501 LA organizers issued an apology.

This may be overstating the obvious, but serious consideration needs to be made and demand the IOC and FIFA to withdraw the 2026 World Cup and 2028 Olympics from the US because of the deteriorating situation with this regime and it's draconian measures in LA. Hope everyone is safe

I worked at Heavenly for 3 seasons, snowboarding. Base is 6K, top is 10K. I was 22 and I have never again been that fit. I've been to Denver several times. I lived there for 7 months a few years ago, and dear god could I feel it.
