I wouldn’t normally advocate for gross materialism, but fuck it. I’m a goddamn hypocrite.

update: the album starts and ends strong. can’t say it strikes the same chords for me as it did for you (although “Stay Home” does hit close to home, pun intended), but i enjoyed it the whole way through
thank you again for the rec

see I thought you were just taking the mick at first, but lo and behold
seems like a short listen, so I’ll have to get to that after work. thank you for the rec

didn’t account for vertical momentum, so as above, it launched in a small arc, landing right onto the ice block instead. tried to cover the elevator, but even the water current wasn’t strong enough to push the cart over ice
took a solid five minutes before i came to the above solution

the idea i had was to build a bubble column elevator instead of a spiral staircase track
the idea was: the mine cart would travel over ice into the bottom block, get lifted to the top, and have a short water stream carry it over ice and into powered rails on an upper level track

physics was never my strong suit, nor mathematics for that matter

i don’t really account for mine cart physics, as i’m still not so used to it. like i forget they can conserve momentum
i just use carts for basic travel, but maybe i should learn their more technical applications

I know a convention is a pretty mundane event to make the declaration of “I feel alive again”, but even in a crowded space, i just felt free
it was a day spent with friends, with some good eats at the end- my first time eating hotpot
maybe went overboard in the Pokémon Center, though…

i also genuinely don’t feel super comfortable posting pics that incidentally have other people in them. i tried as best i could to avoid taking snapshots of other people, but you can only do so well with so many attendees
