Yeah, I think maybe that was the reason I stopped playing. I don't see as much of the fandom now thankfully, so perhaps it's time to give it another go.

He's a competitive guy and plays Smash Bros with his colleagues during lunch breaks, so I'm hopeful and can get him slingin' hadoukens for a while at least. He dabbled in Third Strike during Online Edition, so Street Fighter 6 is probably my best bet.

I really like how SF6 does it. Decent damage penalty on Modern, and a pretty kind input buffer on Classic, even if it leads to some input strangeness sometimes.
