adding in too MUCH quality of life? dipping my toes in Classic WoW really made me miss needing to learn spells from class trainers and slowly run around on foot and stuff like that.
something about those rough edges & moments of friction that just made the world seem larger & more interesting.

well, maybe one that doesn’t spiral out *completely* out of control they way mine did? not that i’m complaining about how things turned out, of course… 💕

well, you don't have to jump into the deep & permanent end of the pool right away! give it a try for awhile, see how it feels!

more people should be trying to get into this particular shape for the summer.

dunno how lucrative these collabs are, but i think a big part of the reason it feels sudden is that a lot of those artists were just getting their work ripped off until recently.

really sorry to hear that they laid you off after all of the long hours and effort you put in. you deserve a lot better than that, and i hope you find something new soon.

that said, there's probably lots of special polishes and maintenance/repair kits geared toward inanimate transformees to keep us going too!
not to mention repair shops, secondhand stores... whole industries built up around refurbishing & restoring transformed items and finding new homes for them. 💕

aww, thanks! i definitely want to stick around for the long haul too. 💕
i usually like to imagine sentient/transformed objects like me have a baseline level of durability & quality that's *much* higher than average. some level of innate self-healing or repair is fairly commonplace too.

i guess the grim answer is not being sure how much security i could offer. we just had those assassinations up here, and things at work have felt tenuous lately; i don’t really know if i’m going to make it to the other side of this either.

wanting to be able to be in a position to take someone in when worse came to worst was one of the reasons i worked so hard to get this place, and i've been dragging my feet on it since and i don't really know why. anxiety after being such a hermit for the last few years maybe.

inanimate hangouts—i.e. objects quietly & motionlessly sitting next to each other—do sound *really* fun. 💕

oh, definitely! i love how many different ways you’ve found to “verbally” express yourself that way. gurgling & sloshing in your bowl, singing in your pipes…

i kind of picture it feeling akin to being in bed and wrapped up in layers of weighted blankets, only the blankets are a *part* of you. just wonderfully cozy.
and then getting reinflated again would feel like the world's *best* stretch. 💕

it'd be dark, and any sound would probably be rather muffled, so really you're left just focusing on your sense of touch, which has probably kicked up into overdrive with your vinyl skin pressed up against itself over and over again in layers after being folded up.
it'd be like one long self-hug.
