Adrian Andrew Martinez, a U.S. citizen, tried to intervene as federal immigration agents questioned another man in a Walmart parking lot. ICE agents violently swarm him. Now missing.
By law, he has a right to an attorney.
This is how police states operate.

I dont think people in the west loved Hitler, but it does seem like they weren't very passionately opposed to him until he made it our problem

the mainstream media has been steadily buying into the idea that science and academia are somehow "captured" by left and liberal ideologues, rather than the more obvious explanation that measured analysis leads people away from reactionary thought

Analyzed 30 years of UK trans media coverage across 12,000+ articles. Found coverage exploded after 2016, with public support dropping 18% as stories shifted from rights-based to threat-based narratives. Shows manufactured controversy, not grassroots concern.

I just lost my job at the EPA due to the federal funding withdrawals. I am very interested in human health and the environment, and I do know for a fact that our current agricultural practices are not sustainable for either.

Also, we don't need to increase our yields by some huge amount, as we currently do. A very large amount of food we grow is literally thrown away, because it would disturb the price if supply overwhelmed demand. We pay farmers to grow food that we then throw away.

These can both be true. Food has become more abundant, but the nutritional value has decreased. I think this is a very well researched video about it by people who are much better communicators than me, if you're interested youtu.be/8uwn7ioUHTk?...

They're probably going to go somewhere stupid with this, but there are actual problems with the nutritional quality of the food we grow and eat because of pesticides, herbicides, climate change, large scale monoculture, etc. I doubt they'll actually talk about that though

"We'll just terraform Mars," they insist, unable to terraform Earth, a planet that is already perfect except it's like 2° too warm.
