While I don't do or believe this. I definitely do not mess with Quija boards for a similar reason. Might not do anything, but imo nothing good and only bad things can come from messing with them so I just don't go there.

Maybe we can start here for finding "waste, fraud, and abuse"

Have played but still haven't played fully through. Need to get on that.

Agreed. The whole controller thing with Psycho Mantis was way ahead of its time and innovative too.

Not realistic. The last time they slept in the same bed was probably when Baron was conceived.

True. But in reality, rich people love poor people having many children to create more generations of wage slaves.

Now, I unfortunately just don't even go on any social media before I go see a hyped movie because of it.

Yea, I was shook. I didn't even know people did shit like that. It isn't acceptable in any circumstance. But I was like, you're really going to post this in the comments section about a football post?

I don't understand it. I remember before I saw Star Wars episode 7, I was looking through a random sports post. And someone posted a comment fully spoiling the movie for me. I literally couldn't believe why someone would do something like that.

He's already said he thought the Gilded Age was when America was the "greatest," so it comes as no surprise. I hope the accelerationists end up being right. Because otherwise we're screwed.

How about we make a deal. All colleges lose their status, but so do churches.

It is very scary and also not surprising. I can't tell if the facist takeover already happened and we'll never have fair and free elections again, so there's no fear of retribution. Or if it's truly incompetence, and they genuinely believe that most Americans support this administration.

Idk the origins of the term. I personally love cats, so I am not a fan of it. That's just what the financial industry calls it. Just like why is a bull a symbol for an uptrend market and bear downtrend? Same thing.

But for as long as we live in a deeply flawed dog eat dog society, it will be easier to taint people and use their hatred to blind them and turn them against each other.
comment in response to

My personal theory is that the best way to get people to see the light only will happen when people see their world materially change in their lives for the better. And then realize that the hatred doesn't matter, and we're all the same and deserve a dignified human existence with basic needs met.

I don't think that it takes a messiah to make a difference. I support candidates/policies I believe will make a difference and make my positions known to anyone who will listen. But I personally can't change the hearts/minds of people who won't listen and are closed off due to hatred.

The drug of racism etc is apparently strong. I still have faith that many can see the light when presented with a truly transformative change candidate that represents good instead of evil. But we've yet to see that on the presidential level at least.

It's not the majority. I'd say more plurality. But that won't change the results/effects of it. The only optimism I can cling to is that just how bad it's getting could accelerate positive progress in the opposite direction? But that might be more wishful thinking than anything.

It's a great step in the right direction. But there needs to be massive primaries coming in the next few years also. Too many in the Democratic party are not up to the task of doing the will of the base/American people. There should be widespread primary pressure from the base against incumbents.

They don't even have to be that creative and go that far. They'll just go to war with Iran for Israel and then use the war to overreach and implement martial law.

They are doing so many immoral and horrific things the media can't catch up. Not to mention giving in to Trump by not covering him as harsh for fear of retribution.

Tarrifs generically aren't bad by themselves. Applying them universally with no strategy or thought is what is bad.

Republicans will never hold him accountable. The only realistic method of impeachment would be a complete landslide in the midterms and Democrats would have to do it

So you want to FORCE social security, fire departments, and police onto those who don't want it and can pay privately for retirement, police, and fire fighters?
comment in response to

We don't want medicare for all who want it, we want medicare for ALL. I refuse to believe you can't put forth a bold policies agenda and win and get it done. Republicans always do it all the time. It's because their goals align with big business that has corrupted government, but still.

No what corporate establishment Dems do is give as little progress that their corporate overlords and donors allow for. Then cry lesser of 2 evils if you don't like it.

I think politics matters as well. For example, I do not think Bernie should be primaried. Just because someone is old doesn't mean they have bad politics. But as a general rule, it's probably correct 95% of the time.
