It's illogical to think or even suspect that Elon Musk is doing this out of the goodness of his heart - there must be something in this bill that is going to cost him at a least a couple of precious dollars.
It's more likely absolute coincidence that there's any benefit to others in killing this.

1) the republiCON greed machine intends to murder those who are most easily swayed by their stories, or
2) the republiCON greed machine is too stupid to understand that it's pursuing actions that will murder its particular base of easily manipulated sycophants.

I consider it great luck that I had just finished reading Bill Nye's "Everything All At Once" just a few weeks before the appalling results of our November 2024 election. It helped me to just breathe through the pain and despair of seeing this piss-poor excuse for a human being take the Presidency.

Remind people demanding to know where the Democrats are, the answer is at least partly that they weren't voting in Nov 2024. Demented Donny got to ride the wave of the fanatic-backed republiCONs' hate and greed into the office of the Presidency because of 20 million democrats who failed to vote.
