"Serve with mayonnaise."
WHY? Isn't it bad enough already?!
Anyway, happy national donut day. π π©

I liked the variety, y'know? Articles, gaming tips, previews of upcoming shows, and comics to boot.

While we're talking about newsstand greats, the Star Wars (1998) comic was full of adventure. Inside the covers there were ads that got me really excited for The Phantom Menace! #starwars

Once I started reading them, I rarely missed an issue if either until the middle 2000s. Loved them so much!

I totally missed the VCS when it came out so I just looked it up. Neat to see those old joysticks modernized & wireless. Definitely a wasted opportunity. You're right, it could have been a sweet multi-use Steam box!

Yeah, it seems like a safe choice to get their feet under them. I'm interested to see if they can bring something clever & fun to market. I'm with you - not sure how far hardware will go without imagination.

All for it if they can release something unique and compelling. My hope is that if a new console flops, they'll still be making really great games.

I'm sad about the pixelization when the video uploaded, but hopefully everyone can at least enjoy the sound of the rushing water!

Good thing! Did you read the manual that came with it? Mine says, "You must ensure your Construct gets ample daily exercise or it may get creaky and bone dust may fall into its crevices."

Fun idea! Too bad it was stymied by poor tech. The idea didn't go away as the Nintendo e-Reader was released in 2001. It could read dot codes printed on cards that gave out special villagers & songs in Animal Crossing as well as unique items & trainer battles in PokΓ©mon Ruby/Sapphire among others.

It's the daftness that I really love! The game is seriously fun, but doesn't take itself too seriously.

That's so cool! Didn't know about this, thanks for sharing. Reminds me of the live-action Halo short: Really fun & far too short.
