Wife needs uninterupted strong uplink to support her data analysis, and I need the download for big files and upload of data to our incident response servers!)

Yeah. I miss the days where we simply made good products for the sake of making good products.
I work as a solutions architect and genuinely, making better products is what I live for. Seeing customer sqeezing and contract-limited operations is incredibly depressing.

I think the entire idea about the rot economy is pretty spot on. The idea where organizations squeeze their customers for every little bit of money, at the expense of usability and value is a perfect indictment of the continuous growth philosophy. I love how angry he gets in his podcast: As I agree.

Well,
Acceptable use has everything to do with reducing organizational exposure from users private use of corporate equipment. If there is no sanctioning capability, one would struggle to get rid of users who misuse their equipment. It's not usually about blocking, but controling user actions.

Have anyone else started receiving the 'ad-break' function? I have never received a better reason to stop using instagram all together.

I'm not entirely convinced we will ever have it. The intermeshing of quickly connected road entities and data streaming between cars in motion, the road tracking required to for safe travels in messy driving envirnoments makes me believe if we get there it'll be for highly trafficated roads only.

I wish NIS2 was a stronger legislation for healthcare. Sadly, as most healthcare institutions in Norway are publicly owned it usually means they won't be using funding on their IT services.
This tends to leave healthcare institutions using outdated, sunset and end of support OS' and applications.
