It was amazing.

I was there too. Seemed like way more...

I was there- way more than 20,000 people.

I went to both Downtown and Pasadena. Great turnout at both, and both very peaceful and powerful. Also, seemed like a lot more than 20,000 people in down town.

Way bigger than 20,000. I was there.

I was in L.A. Only violence I saw was two poodles barking at each other.

I was there. Totally Peaceful.

When they did this, as a token of appreciation- since I don't but sports equipment- I bought a few shares of stock. It went up an insane amount. Best stock I ever owned.

When one of my cats died, the other (his sister) was so sad she wouldn't eat or drink, and didn't even have the energy to retract her claws when she walked. I took her to the vet and she wasn't physically sick- just completely distraught. Eventually she came out of it, but it was rough.

There's also a fellow named John Williams who went to North Hollywood High and UCLA.

Newsom stood up. Good on him.

We're capable of burning the city to the ground. This is MY city. It would NOT be awesome. It would be tragic. People would die. No such thing as side watchers. Whether they admit it or not, everyone is on a side. Why should LA pay the price of having people examine their morals?

Everyone here knows someone affected. Tempers boiling over. They send in the Marines a lot of people are gonna die. Schiff talks constantly about ICE- we know where he stands. He can't address everything in a post Now the mission is to keep people calm. I lived the riots in 92. Know what can happen

Angeleno here- I think Schiff is right. This is a trap to incite violence so the orange felon can invoke the insurrection act and send in the Marines. This is a test of what his fascist regime can get away with. Remaining calm is the only way through this.

Thank you Kai Ryssdal.

I agree, defenourcountry! I'm sick of people re-hashing the past & blaming dems. Look at the amount of $$ and propaganda right wing media we were up against- & still up against. We gotta work with what we have now, (which isn't a lot) & stave off the GOP & their evil agenda as best we now can.

A bunch of lawyers are gonna make a bunch of money hammering out what "produced in foreign lands" means.
comment in response to post
The first of many problems with this idiotic EO is what exactly does "produced" mean? Is it the location of the production co? Any work done on the movie abroad- i.e. filming, music recorded, animation... We're in deep trouble as it is. This is just going to make a very real bad problem worse.

I went to the one in L.A. It was invigorating. Felt great to be with like minded people voicing our opinions about protecting democracy. It was not at all useless to me.
