Similar with the main train station. Very busy even after 22:00. I took direct sleeping train to Bratislava. Which was a genius idea on paper. But there was a Polish party at the neighbor compartment until 2am. Every other word was kurwa. And I feel like after a night spent in the clubs. 😅

Mostly for refactoring. Our codebase if 6 years old with thousands of modules. Refactoring could be a lot easier with types. Also to be able to clearly state my intentions with a function, especially handling nil and making sure the compiler will keep an eye on it.

I would probably consider Swift. You can also use it to control LEGO (afaik). Also Swift Playground is pretty cool.

The diagonal is irrelevant, the resolution is what's important. I have 34" but 5120x2160 with MBP M1 16" and sometimes it takes a minute to wake that up. 1 of 20 times it doesn't wake the display up at all. I am using thunderbolt cable with usb-c connectors on both sides.

Nice! Polish dubbing but also the language itself is a phenomenon here in Slovakia. Quite a lot of words sound very funny to us. :-D I remember my grandparents that lived in north Slovakia watching TVP and Polsat very often. Great memories.

Not sure how it's now with Synology, but one important parameter I would keep an eye on is Docker support. When you have that, you won. But I assume it's the default now.
