Also my new Nvidia GPU, despite being told to be a spruce of possible problems, works perfectly, and actually gives me better benchmark scores with GeekBench under Linux than in the Windows partition

I'm using @opensuse.org Tumbleweed and it is as solid as a rock.
In about 10 years using this distro, I never had serious breaking issues, and the few times where something was not working out of the box, it's been easy to configure it manually

That's what I feared. I need it to be reliable also for longer chats, possibly by getting back at them also days or weeks later, and also for longer evaluations in the same context

I'm not sure, Witcher games have a strong focus on storytelling of a specific class/archetype,custom character creation doesn't seem to me to be fitting too much in this.
I like it more in Elder Scrolls games where the focus is on worldbuilding and exploration, with different classes/play styles

And you don't need to have the full url posted, saving in character count.
Thanks for sharing, by the way 💚

If you are into sci-fi The Expanse series by J. Corey is one of the best of the 2010's, great story, great worldbuilding, amazing and "alive" characters. It's a 9 book series, if it feels like it's too much (it's totally worth it tho), you can also check Andy Weir's novels, starting with The Martian

It is probably one of the use cases where it can hardly substitute a professional human, but for an initial confrontation can be useful

One possible use among all others of AI.
I've not tried yet to use it as therapist, but I've tried to use it to draw my psychological and personality profile, and I must say that the overall depiction was quite accurate and also provided some good insights

I mean I really enjoyed the overly detailed full-page description of the church's portal in Umberto Eco's "The Name of the Rose" and not everybody should be like me, but having an attention span that don't allow to read a short, yes short, two-minutes text is the opposite and not a good thing at all
