Mesh hair can still look great just add a texture, unwrap UVs, and tweak the material like lowering roughness and adding shine. They can also use a hair shader or convert parts to curves later if needed. Let me know if you want help!

Perfect. Drop the character refs over in private and include whatever you’ve got written for the upgrades, even if it’s just rough notes. Once I get a look at the material I can guide what needs tightening up visually

Do you already have references for the protagonist’s suit or her powered up form? And do you have a color scheme or tone in mind for the dimension/world she’s trying to save? The more visual cues I get, the quicker I can align with the story’s rhythm and maybe even push it further stylistically.
