No, I'm not. I think that what happened on October 7th was both an understandable escalation after years of abuses and a horrific tragedy where hundreds of innocent people were killed or had their lives torn apart.

To be clear, by misrepresented I mean it didn't occur in a vacuum: before October 7th 2023 was the deadliest year on record for Palestinian children killed by the IDF, there were no beheaded babies, there weren't anatomically impossible mass rapes, and there were not 1200 civilians killed by Hamas.
