I did see a bird fly away from waaaay high up in the tree. I'll bet that was my flycatcher. :)

Amazing! Earlier this week, I heard a bird call that I could not identify, and the Merlin app indicated that it was a Great Crested Flycatcher. I searched the trees behind our house, but could not spot the flycatcher. I am so glad that you were able to watch them for a while.
