Thanks! It incredibly hard work. He never takes a day off and his wife told me they never have been on vacation. They can’t even go to the auction because his brother broke his leg when a large piece of equipment fell on him last week. Hoping for a good price for them too!

Yes, the tariffs will apply to horses from Europe, Canada and islands inhabited by penguins. Total insanity. I have a lot of breeder friends who sell horses from Canada. This is killing them.

My sister, Margaret Law Kosyk runs the Mustang Sport Horses page on FB and has two Mustangs she has going in eventing and dressage. They are great!

Good, go big! But do keep in mind police officers died on January 6th. Republicans cannot claim to be the law and order party when they pardon those who killed and injured the police. They are now the party of cop killers.

I’m still waiting for Germany to issue him a travel ban. Demonstrating any form of Nazi propaganda is illegal here.

“Trump = traitors, cop killers and thugs.” More than four words, but could fit in a sign.

Best is to not build a mega metropolis in a desert or area with extremely little water and expect this not to happen. This is a climate change and urban management problem.

Unfortunately not a big fan. We still have to use XPS as an insulation for basements and under slabs because it’s the only thing that withstands the moisture, but the stuff is made from extremely toxic chemicals. Add fireproofing chemicals to that and lord help us all.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been out for a while and didn’t realize you lost him. 😢

Our basic building regulations in Luxembourg are passive house standards which works very well, but when I was visiting family in Florida, I wondered about how a passive house does in such a warm, humid climate. Do you have information on how to cool a passive house in a hot, tropical environment?

Yes, that caught my attention too. How would you orient it on the site to optimize solar gain while preventing overheating in summer?

Funny! And nice project. Thanks for sharing the plans. If you use the hashtag #affordablearchitecture your posts will show up in the feed. So far, I’m the only one posting there which gets boring. Would be good to have more perspectives!
