The entire article is built around this "incriminating" quote, a researcher explicitly stating that her work should be accurate and clear before publishing.
The headline implies that she is holding back her data because her findings are politically incorrect.

Well, “elites” in the public eye are vested in maintaining a certain relationship to power and holding attention, and positions that threaten that power structure and attention economy threaten them materially.
