You study women/gender and American politics for years and then someone just tweets it out.

Knocked on 67 doors today after work. Talked to 17 (delightful) people. Probably knocked on ~430 doors in the last two weeks. Really appreciate hearing how people view their schools. #OwensForAPS

Sitting in the facility master plan community session for Atlanta Public Schools. I've been vocal that I'm concerned about the way our district has gone about the process to close schools, but I'm keeping an open mind that things change. Gonna live-skeet it.

“Civics education” is great but it’s becoming the “financial literacy” of the next generation. What help is “how does a bill become a law” when the president is enabled limitless powers by congress?

At the risk of being a Christian scold I will say the parable of the Good Samaritan absolutely suggests the protagonist is so self-denying that he does not look after himself. Stopping to help a robbed man on the road was to put yourself in danger. It is an appeal to ultimate sacrifice

Pitch-perfect Get Out of the Shower and Immediately Start Sweating weather here in Atlanta today

Just had a man yell “GO ON!” to me like I was a feral dog so canvassing for school board is going great

Sen. McLaurin is awesome and would make an incredible Lt. Governor

Obviously this is dark but I want to point out that they're trying to close the Department of Education under the guise of state's control and then making it clear that they plan to tighten control over state's education practices. You know how you do that? With a strong Department of Education!

If I were ever running for mayor of Atlanta, I would make the pitch that we build tons of housing so that Atlanta can start running the state of Georgia instead of the other way around as has been the case

SV elites: we should use tech and AI to revolutionize education (but their kids go to private schools that don't do this), college isn't important (but their kids go to the best ones), and everyone's jobs can/should be replaced (but not the ones for them or their kids)

This lady is helping pull off a 28-3 comeback against Bill Belichick’s legacy and I’m here for it

One of the things liberals like Alex here forget to tell you is that data centers provide the necessary civic responsibility of being a multi-acre eye-sore that employs ~12 people per site and takes up land that could be housing or literally anything else

The data is convincing that private school vouchers only go to people already in private school and students on average receive a lower-quality education without state guardrails. But I'd like to look at the public schools these voucher students might leave. 1/

One time a Georgia teacher got fired for posting on her own facebook a picture of her in a two-piece

Jesus to Mary Magdalene

A word about RFK Jr.’s comments and the value of kids

I try to care about New York as little as possible but if we could somehow convince Eric Adams that he’s mayor even after he loses and film him to see how he manages, like, events of a sim city I’d love the updates. Man is operating on another level.
