Counterpoint: these are bad times BECAUSE of the idiot currently in the white house.

Not in fable, I use storygraph.
ACOTAR was good but Throne of Glass blows it out of the water. If you were thinking of reading Crescent City, read it before ToG, otherwise the Cescent City series will be ruined for you - its good, but compared to ToG it doesn't stand up. The hangover is real.

I loved throne of glass so much I want to read it again to see all the connections between storylines I am sure I missed on the first read through.

Omg. That tshirt.
I'd say I need to get that for my boss but the federal gov does not have a sense of humour.

I love that my response to this thread got me a follow from a journalist in Gaza, the antithesis of a spineless coward, and a response from a spam account. Really hitting the full spectrum in terms of reach.

I feel the need to specify "not all journalists" before someone comes at me but its enough of a widespread phenomenon that here we are, fighting fascism once again.

Because journalists are spineless cowards?
If the majority of journalists (or the editors that decide what gets published) would stand up to power and call politicians out properly rather than cowtowing to their corporate overlords, the world would likely be a very different place today.

Apparently neither can I, unless I load it with cream and sugar and turn it into warm coffee ice cream.

You can do it! Do it for the treats! (And the long term health impacts.... but mostly the treats)

There are a lot of things I do not miss about living in Cape Breton, but being within easy walking distance of a beach and easy driving distance of several others is definitely the biggest thing I do miss.

Is also healthier when eaten on a restaurant terasse as opposed to when eaten at home.

I do not have guards, no.
At least not yet, hahaha.
It wasn't that painful, really, it just looks dramatic.

Also, this is what happens when a bow string hits your arm lolololol

25 lb draw weight, which i spent a lot of today getting used to cause the bow I had been using before was more like 20. Now that I'm accustomed to the 25, it feels a lot better.
