It is odd, isn’t it? There are quite a lot of things that my GP apparently no longer does, to the extent that it feels like we ought to have had at least some sight of the change of overall policy of what is and what isn’t included. Feels more like it has been eroded in secret.

I saw this person speak at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. He was not gracious.

This is all rather negative. It would be good to also see some promotion and positive messaging rather than all the shirt rending.

The landscapes make me yearn for video games in that aesthetic.

I suggest a great compromise would be for individuals to have the option of anonymity; but also to choose to block all anonymous accounts. Hence still possible to publish information - and have accounts open to all content, but most citizens could block invalidated people.

I’m not sure that’s technically true.

ā€œBlack pill ā€œ sounds like it would have a connotation I don’t understand…

Interesting stuff here - but the Eric Ambler should be next; it's a corker - though the less you know before you read it the better.

TBF I had to be talked into one, and it has become very useful. Mainly as a remote for the iPhone (I know I know), but also been valuing the sleep quality measuring.

Makes sense: really, ā€œhumanisingā€ yourself really helps in many forms of communication.

Feels a happier place, more content orientated than arguments orientated. Like Twitter was about 10 years ago. So far, anyway. See you at the awards later in the month 😁

These are pleasing memories. I got started building flip-flops and logic gates out of old germanium transistors while listening to Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio. Which unfortunately dates me to 1975. Then via Z80 single boards to VAX and UNIX machines

Top tip, thank you. I'll be keeping some; though for someone with no trees I have an ironically large leaf problem. (Not really complaining, I'm surrounded by dozens of very large, old and majestic oak, ash, and maple trees)

Reduces the leaves to about 10% of their starting volume. Also, less undignified than climbing in the bin to jump up and down on them. Win.

Look at that - found the problem, good news. Also, I can get the replacement component - but the bad news is that I had to destroy the enclosure to get it apart. Totally not designed for repair. #repairfail #circulareconomy

I have found the website carsized.com quite fun here. Let's you compare 2 silhouettes, and the results are startling.

I totally am pronouncing it that way - but would be 'stolen valour' for me to lay claim to the word. I don't know the originator - but it's suddenly everywhere so I am merely a conduit for their wit
