I'm pretty sure this cat is the reincarnation of Otto von Bismarck. He also looks pissed. Makes sense right now. Veteran, true believer in America. AZ resident, Iowa native. Trump is an existential threat to America’s soul. He’ll fail in the end. No BM’s.

Trump will kill billions. Because he did this.

It is, but one already existed. Service members. They adopted it to be douchey.

Fuck off with that.

In a political sense, I am gleeful. This will help show Americans how destructive Trumpism is. In a personal finances sense, I'm very unhappy. And in a "I want my children to grow up in a stable country and for America to be OK" sense, I'm also very unhappy.

I'm very sorry. Prayers and my best to you.

Salute your work. I'm very very sorry about all the people this is going to hurt. And I agree that it's not overly dramatic to say some will die as a result of this bill. It's all so incredibly horrible.

bill is completely draconian and immoral. Just like us cutting off USAID. People will suffer. Some will die. And the country will regress, both morally and economically. But Trump wants to take care of himself and his rich buddies. It's like something from any dictatorship.

another way. It's like, "This money brought to you by the Republican Party." Or Trump. Or MAGA. It's so completely un-American. Plus it's a small amount in the first place. How much can $1,000 grow into in 20 years or so? Not enough to make a difference. It's a bribe, though, at small price. The

on the surface. But it's completely cynical. For one thing, they are going to be officially called "Trump accounts." That is North Korean or Germany between 1933-1945 shit. We cdon't have a Dear Leader or a fuhrer. Or we're not supposed to. It's completely un-American. And it's also sick in

the most. They're slashing social spending to give the rich a big tax break, basically. Then there are smaller details that I've heard that are terrible, too. One is that the government plans to invest $1,000 per child if they're born in the next four years. In an investment account. Seems good

millions of children. So they'll have less food, less ability to advance academically, more stress, and more sickness, etc. And all this is being doe to offset tax cuts which are VERY damaging to our long-term growth and stability as a nation. And those tax cuts benefit the most wealthy Americans

Absolutely awful. The major parts of it are terrible, and some of the small details I've read about that they have snuck into it are also horrible or nauseating. It's going to take health care away from an estimated 13.7 million people. It also greatly reduces public assistance that feeds

Is he gonna give them plum management positions at the new Gaza Strip Luxury Resort?

Why would they do that. GOP should want him to win. He’s the best they’ll get in New York.

Yeah, you’re right. I always agree with that definition. Ironically, I almost never think of sex workers as “whores.” I wouldn’t use that word or even think to. The word has almost taken on a meaning divorced from that action (exchanging sex for money) for me.

So we have to go back to hiding 8-year-old Playboys under a log in the woods near our house?

Yeah, it’s sick. I guess we would have if the Confederates had not only won but also taken over the U.S. That’s the situation we have now.

Excessive, but I don’t think pointless. They definitely needed to have undergone a soul-searching and have had a big mea culpa moment. But I think they have. And now they’ve done their penance. Time to move on.
comment in response to post
Why are we still talking about this? Especially in the modern news cycle. Yes, Democrats need to have learned. And they needed to undergo self-flagellation. But again, I thought they had? And if they haven't by now, they never will. Let's move on.
comment in response to post
I agree it was necessary, but I thought we already had it? Yeah, it was fng stupid and destructive what we did with Biden. Really horrible decisions by B, his wife and his handlers, and it was a giant coverup. Full acceptance and agreement on that. Totally unpatriotic I just thought it was over?

Thinking the same.

Wish they'd had more foresight. He told us time and again who he was and what he was going to do. Hope they vote for their own interests in 2026 and beyond.

I just read the cuts won't go into effect until 2029. If true, it will be our job to keep reminding people what's coming and who did it. And when it arrives, to remind people who did it and when. That'll be a big challenge. Lots of people only blame whoever the current president is.

Does to me.

Canadians were always mad at the American people, to be honest. Trump just supercharged it, and also finally gave them a real reason.
