Nationalize SpaceX, re-evaluate Elon’s naturalization status (he overstayed a visa he did not qualify for, and then didn’t go to school - it was a school visa), seize assets as “illegal gains”, and dump him in CECOT (or repatriate to South Africa)

of autocracies is there is only room for 1 person. Everyone else is dispensable. Wonder if someone at ICE is right now reviewing Elon’s naturalization record (note, he isn’t clean). Let smoke from the bridges burnt today be seen wide and far.

Might not want to look into the symbology of bees in Medieval Europe and the use of golden bees as pass keys (although you probably already know these things).

Somedays getting home from school was an Odyssey all it's own.

:: looks up crying :: Wut? I mean, if I didn’t slog through everything you’ve written, how can I claim to be your greatest fan? I mean, I coulda had so much more time to do something. I coulda been a contender

Well, fuck, now I have to get a Costco membership (it’s farther away than Sam’s, and it not anywhere near other places I need to go, but…)

I'm sure that's in one of the studies the AI hallucinated when it wrote their report for them.

Good waffles can be their own epiphany. Or is that ecstasy. Maybe it’s revelation.

People who failed to get into the military or police academies. My guess is there are now a number of actual former military in their ranks, but as those pictures show, they don’t seem to be having an effect on the cadre.

And I’m not sure about today’s contingent, but in the late 2000’s the government tried to “professionalize” ICE and CBP by instituting vetting more along the lines of the FBI and military. Their recruitment numbers dropped so hard they abandoned that plan in less than a year. These are the

There were at least 2 examples of people claiming to be DOGE and trying to get into offices who turned out to not be DOGE (1 in California and 1 in Massachusetts iirc).

A belly or shoulder wound may not kill you right away, but it’s gonna hurt the whole time it takes to kill you

I think this probably has already happened (look at what happened with DOGE), without the actual records, though, it’s hard to say. But I’m wondering if ICE realizes these are the actions and presentation of irregulars. This is why you have codified uniforms. I just don’t see these ending well.

I posted on Facebook that I think this is the first time I can point to a positive development from a private equity take over.

Yes, this. A young parent I work with I have to remind them that they can’t create the “perfect” childhood and that all parents fuckup something. But if you genuinely love your kids, do your best, and DONT ABUSE THEM MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, or SEXUALLY, you’re doing better than a lot of parents.

I now have to admit that lately when conservative (and sometimes, but more rarely, liberal) people in positions of power say shit like this I hear gunfire in my head. I know it’s just an audio hallucination, but it’s one of the few times that sound brings comfort.

Also, pigeons were for eating. But mostly pigeons are quiet, if put into a dark room they go to sleep. Canaries on the other hand will just keep singing if there is some light nearby.

Also, they would keep the canaries in their homes for their song

(Whispers: it’s that second one, as well as being cheap, also most canaries didn’t die as long as they got to fresh air quickly enough, so the joke was the canary was singing loudly enough that we had to talk even more loudly to be heard)
