Husband, photographer, fisherman. Perhaps most important my dog thinks I am an ok guy. The best times are when my wife and I are out in the world making images.

There is very little parking along Beach Loop Road. Most of it is private property. The nearest parking is at Coquille Point or at Tishatang.

Love the low angle and inclusion of the reflection. Not often seen with woodpecker images.

That is how my wife got into photography. When we first got together, I would pull over for every little roadside falls or grand landscape. I began feeling guilty about leaving Susan in the car so I bought her a camera. The rest is history, as they say.

I fully agree. I try to make note if I do anything "radical" but don't think my images are "reality." The simple fact that I have limited my depth of field alters what was "out there." (I generally will keep a copy with the trash in just so I can complain about litter. :-) )
