The US reminds us again that we need to force our politicians to higher standards: They need years of - Public service - Military service - Not-for-profit work Experience that demonstrates agnostic solutions which support all constituents. They MUST be civil servants or it's just technofeudalism

I’m probably one of few people who are exclusively using Bsky as I’m on a techbro detox after 10 years in marketing. Bsky is wild for trying to understand what is happening globally, despite following major accounts. I get great content, but the context is easily obfuscated.

A three year career break. Not much made sense at the time. It does now. Burnout, travel, volunteering. Journeys outward. And inward too. Neurodivergence, reflection, writing, healing, rebuilding. It wasn’t time off. It was time ON. Some of the best work I’ve done.
