I’m surprised it wasn’t the first thing everyone thought of.

I’ve built and managed complex systems. I’ve been a sys admin, biz analyst, and project manager for 25 years.
The problem is always communication.
Linguistics, biases, culture, ignorance etc.
Frameworks of standards and process is where efficiency shines. ITIL was a brilliant example of that.

Ah, and there’s the distinction of what can be sensed by the mech and what actually ads value.
One user could handle all the data but someone else would need the mech ux of pong.
It’s always about translating the available data to the individuals specific interface needs.
Eg Disabilities.

I suspect that until there’s a bot personalisation setup with dynamic adjustment it will always by unsatisfactory, just like a boring person who is constantly orating instead of reading the conversation.
Bots are just autistic af.

Great article.
I have very engaging conversations but I will ignore half the response due to info dumping.
Getting the bots conversational tone consistent is hard even with configs.
Being Autistic I dislike casual conversations so everything with longevity is deep and educational.

Do you have an example of an app doing that?

When enough stories come out, and if the right groups become involved, legislation can be updated.
I’m winding up to write something after some bad experiences in one of the best public mental health systems in the world.

I read the books ALOT.
I struggled to get past the first eps and the general reviews didn't encourage me.
Please tell me I was mistaken! *furiously tugs braid*

Felt the same, but watching him unscripted pre-potus changed my view.
Even just the shoe dodge was pure class.
I still despise his character but he’s not stupid.
Dunning and Kruger are worth checking out too as this is really quite subjective.

New signs:
“You sure you will get a pardon for this?”
“Impersonating a Federal officer is a felony”
“The SS didn’t have great careers after Hitler”
Make them question the wisdom of their choices as individuals.
Remind them that paranoid collapse is inevitable and Nuremberg happened.

I would love to build a topographical cloud of tags so I could zoom into topics.
Venn diagrams of cross-domain topics which you can zoom in and out of.
Visually trace cross domain experts as they post across their fields.
So much data, such uninspiring visualisations.

Listen to ‘The Overview’ by Steven Wilson at the same time and have a philosophical revelation.

Confession.
I’m AuDHD and reasonably smart.
I have dyslexia with certain words.
Soldier & Shoulder for example. I have to think very carefully before I say it.
I grew up with astrology in the 80s and guess what ended up being a dyslexic word match!
Not all of us are ignorant :)

I’m mid to late severe burnout, 18 months in so far, after a very late diagnosis.
I’ve got a car loan from my now dead business.
Tried to fill in a hardship form, which reminded me of working.
Within 30 seconds I was kneeling on the floor weeping.
Meltdown ninjas suck.

Questions are needed, not statements.
How did this happen?
What needs to be changed?
The laws of the US are clearly not for the people.

But blockchain is lolz and for $
You’re in the wrong room buddy, but if you find it, invite me please.
I believe blockchain is inevitable as part of our future data sphere.

So AI hasn’t done anything useful?

Ummm we were upset about the environment before AI, have unprecedented renewables growth and more science breakthroughs than ever before.
AI is driving science advancements you cannot imagine.
People are always the ones making bad decisions, AI is just the new whipping boy.

I agree, f2f will boom but it’ll be for social support, not a new employment paradigm.
This sounds more like a PR post trying to be an optimist about employment than an actual AI insight.
I doubt even Ilya can predict ‘within the next 3 years’.

100%.
But I want to paint a picture for the next 100 years and Mars was where I got to jump into the conversation.
Earth is the ‘cradle’ of humanity.
We’ll just procrastinate moving to orbitals until we are forced, which means we’ll probably half-arse it.

I used to be in data analytics.
They know, but this is the problem with modern democracy, they can’t spend much time planning beyond this term.
Watch for how the rules change for independents too. Bi-partisan shutdown of indies has been creeping forward for decades.
