I said the same thing to the Mrs. Mark the day indeed.

The absolute bullshit this administration wastes time and money on is disgusting. Going after doctors, going after colleges, going after Biden. No forward progress on anything that matters, just destruction & taking things away (while saddling us with debt).

Even if her story were true (which it’s not), you’d still have to be very dysfunctional to write this.

I wish we could blame it on one guy, but it’s the fault of our citizens. He’d be nowhere without them.

Excellent. Now we need one of these:

And after all that, your book is a flop and your show hit record low ratings. Good job, asshole!

You’re not the only one. www.yahoo.com/news/jake-ta...

The only reason ANY of these policy decisions are being made, including the tariffs and the GOP bill, are to further enrich Trump. If only all Americans understood this.

Trump doesn’t hold a position. It’s always maybe, or maybe not. It’s his built in mechanism to avoid accountability.
comment in response to post
I don’t buy it. Just like Trump, he’s pretending he made big sacrifices for this job - which apparently consists of tweeting and doing Fox News interviews.

I’ve used the subway every day for over a decade. I look forward to it because I can listen to tunes and relax.

It’s unwatchable. It actually epitomizes national political discourse and why we’re not making any progress as a country.

Will have to look into this one!

I understand that 100%. Elder care will still benefit greatly from robots. I wouldn’t mind as long as it’s not a Tesla. Then it would go from changing my diaper to accidentally setting me on fire and driving me off a cliff.
comment in response to post
I thought 10 years but it feels sooner. Pair what I’ve seen from companies like Boston Dynamics with a GPT-like LLM & that thing will be changing diapers and bedpans like nobody’s business.

Yes - be nice to them. They’ll likely be taking care of you in your elder years.

It’s gonna take more than their hearings, angry letters, and outrage posts.

Because those who would arrest him are just as corrupt as he is, and on his side.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I’m sure Pam Bondi is on her way to arrest him right now. 🙄🙄🙄

I’m periodically reminded why I canceled my NYT subscription & blocked them on social media.

I’m not so sure, considering the cringe-inducing stupidity of entire family. Maybe his application essay was the shark-battery story.

Man who is part of the problem is shocked there’s a problem.

Sounds great but unfortunately there’s absolutely no truth to this meme.
comment in response to post
He gives me Shawshank warden vibes.
comment in response to post
This meme will do nothing to change minds on the other side. They don’t care about other people’s kids, and being judgy is probably what they hate about Dems the most. More effective: explain to Republicans what’s in it for them. That’s all they care about. How does feeding kids benefit them?

The male ego is destructive. When I think of the stupidest things I’ve done, they are ego driven. But I still haven’t stripped millions of their healthcare and social safety nets to further empower and enrich myself.
comment in response to post
One bright side. As a Radiohead fan, I’ll now go listen to that song.

You’ve been officially scared off this site, and I can see why. This is what people think of you:

Wall St? Yes Tech bros? Yes Everyone else? No

The most important part is ignored: IT VIOLATED A COURT ORDER. Funny how that got left out, isn’t it? 🤔
comment in response to post
Yup, when I’m in a fantasy land kind of mood.

They’re laying the groundwork for the lies we’ll hear for months, shifting blame to US businesses and foreign countries.
comment in response to post
MAGAts revel in hearing cruel things said about Democrats and especially Biden. They could have lost 20 relatives to cancer and still cheer on these disgusting comments. These people are lost.
comment in response to post
Yes - and I should clarify. I didn’t mean it as “I said it 4 years ago but now we’re fine.” I meant what you said - it’s now worse. If we don’t vote him (and the GOP) out AND hold him/them accountable for their crimes, the country is truly lost even if Dems win.
comment in response to post
I remember saying something like this 4 years ago.

I’ve been working my ass off today while my useless senator has been sitting around watching basketball.

She’s in a panicked frenzy to talk as fast and loud as she can so he can’t dispute her lies. They all do this.

Don’t forget the tariff tax.
comment in response to post
“and so will your customers” Setting things up to blame companies like Walmart for high prices, and not his self-inflicted tariff tax.
comment in response to post
Same! I would be horrified if offered candy from a bag after the passenger has been digging into it with his disgusting, disease-riddled hands.
comment in response to post
Ok well, this one got me.

WE did. THEY didn’t.

Err - in the current HBO graphics package. Seems I can’t put words in the correct order this morning.
comment in response to post
They still use elements of this music in current the HBO graphics package.

It’s also positioned as “Democrats” who oppose. In MAGA world, “Democrat” is an insult all by itself. They use it like a slur. The NYT knows exactly how to position their bullshit stories so as not to upset Dear Leader.
comment in response to post
Sometimes NYT filth sneaks into my timeline even though I blocked them. Did you accept a bribe to write this?
comment in response to post
Another day, another crime. Another day of our leaders either encouraging it, doing nothing, or writing angry letters.

C’mon guys, give a 34x convicted felon (for fraud) a chance to continue destroying the “envy of the world” economy. He clearly has no clue what he’s doing so c’mon, give him a chance.
